Here we have a very early version of the infamous VCS-3, also known as "The Putney". These units were handcrafted in London, England in the late 60's/early 70s by Electronic Music Studios.
This particular model includes the matching keyboard and ultra rare E.M.S. Random Voltage Generator box (Model No. 560/5). The generator does exactly what you'd expect it to do (generates voltages at variable random times).
Recently calibrated along with a power supply recap.
The VCS-3 has been favored by countless artists/producers worldwide for a good reason! (Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd, Stereolab, Yes, Aphex Twin, Autechre, Depeche Mode, The Who and more).
