2008 Fender Custom Shop Todd Krause Masterbuilt Mark Knopfler Hot Rod Red 60’s Strat

RGG are absolutely delighted to have this Custom Shop Fender NOS Stratocaster for sale.

Please note that this is not the cheaper 'Teambuilt' MK model! This TK model is a one off special order from Todd Krause the Custom Shop Masterbuilder who has built and maintained Mark Knopfler and Eric Clapton's guitars over the years.
It took around three years from order to delivery as obviously Todd will build guitars in pecking order of importance.
The order was placed for a Stratocaster exactly to Mark Knopfler's usual specification except with an Ebony fingerboard and a black G&G hard case.

The 'Teambuilt' model sells for around £2000 only.

This model is a bit special! So if you are a Mark Knopfler fan then this is the Strat for you! It really nails the classic tone found on those Dire Straits records. And how cool is it than you can actually own and play a guitar built by TK “The Man”

This guitar is in mint condition, with literally zero play-wear and comes with COA, strap and an un-opened candy pack containing the vintage bridge cover, cleaning cloth and lead etc.

This girl really sings. her tone is sweet, rich and sparkling and just mouthwateringly good. One strum acoustically and you will fall in love with the deep resonant tone, it’s loud and lively! Finished in vibrant Hot Rod Red colour, with the beautifully finished maple neck and with a deep, dark Ebony fingerboard and built to the true vintage 1960 Stratocaster specifications. Medium Jumbo frets improve the playability, while an Ash body and Custom Shop Texas Special pickups compliment each other well- Balancing out the brightness of the Ash with a beefy, full sounding pickup combination.

Todd Krause Masterbuilt instruments are incredibly collectable investment pieces and this one in particular is sure to increase in value. It takes something like 3 years to get a Todd Krause  from order to stage and this model would cost circa £1,000 more new if I ordered again today and the retail would be in the £7,000 bracket!

So this is an absolute bargain price….Don’t let it slip away!
