Long the most popular workhorse of the Mastertone line, the Gibson RB-250 was built from 1954 until the catastrophic Nashville floods of 2010 destroyed Gibson’s banjo workshop. This Gibson RB-250 Mastertone dates to 1979 and is in great working order. This banjo has the real deal tone that everyone wants in a 5-string banjo. Really a special find. Great Shape for age, with hardware tarnish, 5th and 10th fret inlays fell off and marks, indents and scuffs, 8.5/10. Barcus Berry pickup installed. NO Breaks, Cracks or Repairs. All of our guitars are fitted with a fresh set of our favorite strings by Stringjoy!
