About This Listing

1959 Gibson 250 banjo pot. All original. I know this is a RB-250 because I have the original neck which I put on a 1957 pot assembly. The neck pocket in the resonator is cut for a 5 string banjo (not a tenor). Minimal pull to flange. Nickel plated. Original 4 hole archtop tone ring. Including vintage pre epa Remo head. Rim is full thickness rim. Armrest has been resoldered. Finish wear on resonator. Chip in binding near neck pocket. There is pitting in the metal. Great start to a bow tie banjo or different Gibson style neck. Comes with coordinator rod with both nuts, lagbolt washers and small nut. No tailpiece or case included. If you do need a tailpiece, I can provide a no-name Japanese chrome clamshell at no extra cost. Shipping included in purchase price
