Very good violin made c1920-1930 labeled inside as made by excellent Italian-American maker Giovani Longiaru Venise/ NY...(see photo). In a very good state of preservation for its age, mostly signs of professional use, in crack free state, and elegantly made antique varnish. This violin has a very clear & good tone, with great resonance. It has superb projection & a fast response time. It features a very well-balanced sound between the high & low registers. This instrument would be suitable for professional players as well as for young emerging soloists.LOB 359.
