Made in China in July 2010.
Well-built except the electronics and metal corrosion.
Previously listed as made in Japan, I reached out to Dean guitars by phone and they were able to confirm the country of manufacture as China. My apology for misrepresentation.
What's wrong?
-corrosion on many metal parts
-killswitch gave out around 2016
-there's a grounding issue, I believe where the ground wire should connect to the bridge post but I don't have the time to tear this down and find out
-needs new pots
-needs a fresh nut (high e frets out around 15th fret)
-chips on both lower horns & upper horn
-chip on right headstock horn
What's right?
-action will be great w/ new nut & setup
-great Grover tuners
-minimal fret wear
-good pickups
-good P/U switch
-good neck pocket
-Dean gig case that will fit this monster
-all damage is cosmetic except electronics & nut (to my knowledge)
My advice to the buyer is to do a full overhaul on the wiring, this gives you the opportunity to change the control configuration however you like.

A Razorback edition with a fast, ebonized rosewood fretboard and a special "Killswitch." The Dean Razorback DB Killswitch electric guitar has a highly resonant beveled Razorback-style basswood body with a dramatic satin black finish. A bolt-on maple neck has a comfortable and fast C-shaped profile. The super smooth 22-fret ebonized rosewood fingerboard facilitates wicked, shredding solos. Dean DMT humbucking pickups pump out plenty of raw, uncensored tone. Controls include a 3-way pickup switch, master volume and tone controls, and a special Killswitch that lets you create a musical "Strobe" effect. I don't have a box that fits this otherwise I'd gladly ship it, if you really want this shipped I'm going to charge a high price because I don't have time to acquire the necessary materials. Sorry for the inconvenience.
