Dean EVO from S. Korea 1980s - black

I marked it 'very good' since it is somewhat dirty and not broken at all and sounds very nice...

The hard black plastic nut was replaced with an identical hard bone-type one and the black finish touched up. Guys after a new guitar should look elsewhere!

But wait ... The rear of the headstock shows KOREA and the serial number starts with 'E' and I believe that means mid 1980s and the tuning machines are Grover style but show 'JinHo' on each one. And did you see that the neck is maple and NOT dented ? The round fret markers in the rosewood board are pearloid and are very nice.

Tell me you already have a mid 1980s S. Korean Dean Evo with real JinHo tuning machines...

You will not find any more of these, all complete and that play well, to boot.

Just restring it (I put .010-.046 from high quality D'Addario strings and cleaned it up and that is all!) And you do not get it for cheap! Look at my feedback and there is no 'offers' available for this one. And no case, but it's well packed and shipped by UPS with tracking and fast delivery...

There is no refund or return ... it is a used guitar and we will never see one like it again. The newer pickups are a chrome-covered pair of Pure Salem Mendiola 2-wire humbuckers that are installed in reverse fashion (neck is bridge and bridge HB is at the neck) and it works! The black plain HBs are removed. No case or tremolo for this guitar ... Look at the last photo showing Grover type single screw at the bottom/middle. Dean was not a shabby builder of electrics!
