Tempro Vintage 1960s Drum Kit, Japan Made, Blue/Black Strata, Very Clean & Cool!

Beautiful vintage Tempro drum kit from the 1960s. Excellent original condition!
Tempro was one of the Pearl copy brands of this era used by Pearl to expand their brand. Basically the same design, materials and assembly as Pearl kits of that time.
Made in Japan.
Shell wood is mahogany.
All drums finished in original blue/black strata -- very clean shell finish and condition with lots of luster and shine. Bearing edges and shell interiors are very clean.
Super clean and original kit, no seam split or lift, no tom rash. No extra holes. Very tight wrap. All original hardware including hoops, lugs, legs, etc. Some routine light pitting on some areas of the chrome finish -- I consider this to be normal following five decades of service. Original Tempro badges on all drums. The bass drum has its original coated resonate logo head with Remo Pin Stripe clear batter head. Remo coated heads on the toms and snare drum -- in excellent condition.
The snare drum and toms even have their original internal mufflers and external control dials. The bass drum has its original rack tom swivo-style mount along with the original cymbal mounting port. The original bass drum mounted cymbal arm has been replaced with a non-original arm that can be made complete by fitting a cymbal tilter on the top. Original hoops on the bass drum are in excellent condition -- the matching blue/black strata inlay is intact on both hoops with no breaks. The snare drum is equipped with the original throw off and butt plate that are in excellent working order.
The drums tune up nicely and hold their tune with that warm, woody tone you expect from vintage drums from this era.
