Ibanez Roadstar II RS1400SS 1983/1984 Silver Smoke

From the manufacturers catalogue, “If you prefer the warmer, more natural sound of Super 58 pickups, you may find the RS1400 more to your taste. The RS 1400 offers all the same structural advantages of the RS1500, but employs the use of two separate “Duo-Sound” system that enables you to switch from teh single-coil to humbucking simply by pushing the tone control knob. The RS1400 also incorporates the use of the Short Stop tailpiece which was recently (sic) designed by Ibanez engineers to provide a sharper angle between saddle and tailpiece. This design change means that “string buzzing” problems usually associated with most tailpieces have been completely eliminated. The RS 1400 is available in the striking new finish - Silver Smoke. Both the RS1500 and the RS1400 exemplify state of the art guitar design for the ‘80s. “

I’ve owned this guitar since 1986. It was my first electric guitar. It comes with a slightly beat up but original case. I recently had it set up, and it sounds great. The color is unique and picks up stage lights in a cool way. I’m only selling it to downsize the collection a bit. Happy to ship this to the US, but buyer needs to pay the shipping.
