Here is a very rare acoustic guitar preamp box made in England for Martin guitars. I have never seen another. I purchased this new in the early to mid 80's. It sounds great on my acoustic guitars that have only the piezo pickup or even one where you drop the pickup in the sound hole. It only runs on two 9 volt batteries at 18 volts. It accepts XLR or 1/4 input connections so in theory it can be used for a microphone as well. There is a volume and preset wave (EQ) knob. There is also sliders for adjusting the Bass, color, wave and treble. The Martin&Co. logo lights up green when the box is on which looks cool as well.
The unit is very quiet and in good condition. I can't remember last time I used this and I'm cleaning up the studio which is why I'm putting it up for sale.
