Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...
A cool Black Sparkle Randy Jackson Limited Edition Studio Series Acoustic Electric Guitar. These came out in 2014 so its already 10 years old. We got it in a trade-in.
We are calling it a project guitar as it needs a new battery compartment. The existing one doesn't have a lid and no battery hookup. That will need to be replaced. We were not able to check out the Preamp to see if it was working without the battery hookup. Should be an easy fix for any Guitar Tech or Luthier. We didn't want to spend any more on it so its being sold as a project guitar. Still plays and sounds great acoustically!
Aside from the electronics, we cleaned this guitar up. It was really dirty. Doesn't really show any play on the frets and I have to say, this is one of the straightest necks we have seen on a guitar like this. The truss rod works great and with a new set of Dr Ducks 12 gauge strings, this guitar plays great with really nice low action.
So if you are going to play it at home and don't need an electric guitar, this one is great. It sounds really good and would also make a nice wall hanger for any Randy Jackson fan!
The guitar has numerous dings and wear places. It was not well cared for but its all cleaned up and shined as it should be. Nice Black finish with just a hint of sparkles in the finish. I really like the SS on the headstock for Studio Series. Nice touch!
No case but was pack like we know what we are doing. We do it a lot!
It is sold as is no returns. Its a project guitar. Thanks for respecting that.
