Wurlitzer Momentary Switch/ Pedal 1960's? Silver Metal color

Here's a silver metal aluminum Wurlitzer Pedal- momentary switch with a Type "A" plug. Not sure what it's for , I got it in a box of musical stuff. There is a switch and it clicks on and off. I tested it with my multimeter and when depressed  the connection is triggered. So it's not an on/off switch , it makes the connection when depressed. hardened foam/rubber backing that could be replaced if you want.
