About This Listing

Kenny Hill Estudio short scale 640 cedar top
The Estudio line by Kenny Hill are great guitars at their price point as they sound almost identical to the player series but are priced much lower. The difference is that although the player is a nicer guitar overall the Estudio has the exact same top and bracing, which is where all the sound comes from. The Estudio also has laminated back and sides compared to the all solid wood players but again the tops and bracing are the same.
This Estudio is his short scale 640, so if you have smaller hands or are getting older these make many stretches very easy compared to a standard 650 guitar. The nut width is 52 mm and the body is the same as the 650. They have a truss rod for neck stability and sound amazing at their price.
This one has a cedar top and has a darker sound than the spruce top I also have listed.
It comes with a gig bag but you can add a hardshell case for $69.00
