Art & Soul of Oakland County's mission is to activate movement in foster care partnerships through teaming with visual artists, photographers & musicians.

The Grande Finale Pop-Up Exhibition features Jext Telez White Pedals envisioned by 11 great artists at Galerie Camille in Detroit.

Here is your chance to bid and win a Jext Telez fuzz pedal designed and painted by one of 11 premier artists while propelling a progressive new mission in Foster Care!

The 11 pedals pictured above were hand painted by 11 different artists. They are fully functional Jext Telez White Pedals (See Video Below!) (Fuzz/Overdrive/Boost/EQ/Parked Wah take on TheBeatles White Album).  Retail on a standard White Pedal in plain white is $239. 

The number next to the pedal corresponds to the number of the artist listed below.  The dollar amount seen next to current bid is the current high bid on the pedal.

Emilie Beadle:  Emilie Beadle is a Detroit-based artist, she began her journey while living on the island of Kauai. Emilie's work has been compared with artists such as Hofmann, Pissaro, and Klimt by Chicago art-critic, Lori Waxman. Her work can be found in many, private, corporate, and public art collections such as the Henry Ford Hospital and the Bank of America. Follow @emiliebeadle on Instagram

Taurus Burns:  Taurus Burns has taken on an active role with the Detroit Artists Market planning and organizing art exhibitions.   Taurus Burns has been painting Detroit as it has been evolving this decade. He has the eye of an architect and the attention to detail of the greats.  His paintings have a studied color and light while maintaining a certain fluidity and ease.  Follow @taurusb on Instagram.

Scott Campbell:   A New York native and Detroit transplant, Campbell is a 2016 Redbull House of Art Alumni and Ford Curatorial Fellow at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.   Campbell's work examines the different mechanisms that impede us from having to face certain difficult truths. Adnan Charara:  Adnan Charara is a voraciously productive artist who has spent his life collecting and expressing ideas from a wide array of cultural sources. Working in multiple disciplines, Charara uses humor and pain in an evocative way. He works out of his sprawling studio in Detroit’s Midtown neighborhood, and carries out his work diligently and to the highest degree of quality.  adnancharara.com

Grant Czuj:  A visual artist and published poet, Grant Czuj lives and works out of the metro Detroit area. A man on an endeavor to create what may be thought of as beautiful, ugly, shocking, and nonsensical. The content of his work tends to push the lines of what everyday life is. His figures are dramatic, colorful, solemn, stretched and squeezed, the way most tend to feel in their dealings with life itself. Franklin Jonas:  Geometry is capable of expressing perfect absolutes. I use geometry to gain and share new perspectives through new vocabularies. Today I will be using 5 pointed stars and straight line segments to push the envelope of what has to this day remained a predominant symbol of perfect celestial objects; stars. Desiree Kelly:  Detroiter Desiree's work has been featured at Charles H Wright Museum of African American Art & Red Bull House of Art.  Desiree teamed up with Detroit Bus Company and Converse to create mural pieces to cover school buses, a part of the #sneakerclash international campaign, and worked with Grand River Creative Corridor in Detroit for a 42 ft. mural of her most recognized subject "Abe in Shades".  desireekellyart.com

Malt:  Malt is a self taught artist, living and working in Metro Detroit. Blending aerosol techniques with his signature acrylic style, Malt takes an abstract spin on traditional landscapes and the characters that inhabit the psychedelic backdrops.  Malt strives to bridge the gap from his engaging public murals to concise studio explorations, sometimes breaking his signature owls and birds down to their most abstract.   brownbagdetroit.com

Karianne Spens-Hanna:  Karianne explores entropy during the creative process, investigating the evolution of natural elements and the progression of societal structures. Karianne seeks to unify the energy that threads through humanity, connecting us to nature and each other. Tead:  Jordan 'Tead' Vaughn, Detroit Graffiti Artist.  Tead was a local artist and painter living and working in Detroit, Michigan. James A. Willis: Based in Nashville and New York City, James A. Willis will put paint on just about anything, from traditional canvas to 30 foot long walls, guitars and guitar cases. James was the first ever Artist-in-Residence at Gibson Guitars Custom Shop. Please note pedal #8 by Malt does not engage and disengage as the footswitch was painted over.  The pedal is engaged/effect on only.  If you try to use the footswitch it will not work as the artist drilled the switch to feature it as the 'birds eye'.  

There are absolutely no returns on any of these pedals.  This is a charity auction.  The money is being paid to a Foster kids care organization.

If you do not read and understand what you are buying it is your own responsibility.  There will be no returns for any reason, even claims of damage from the postal carrier.
