About This Listing

Neubauer Archtop 1960s Black Burst w Schaller PU plate

Beautiful Masterbuilt Archtop from Neubauer of Germany.
This handcrafted guitar is made from solid woods of maple (sides and back) and a spruce top.
Fretboard and bridge is of rosewood. It has a 5 piece neck - This neck was slightly sanded and refinished on the back.
Very interesting headstock design and perloid fret markers.
A beautiful guitar to see and play and sounds great for jazz and blues, etc.The Schaller single coil PU gives a great vintage clear tone.
There is a repair on the rear of the body , looks like from buckle rash.
Otherwise guitar finish wise is great with a beautiful Greenish blue (faded on front)to black finish.
All parts are original and work great.

Please see my other items for more fine stuff.

International inquires welcome.
