I play harp with the reformed "Cactus", the "super group" Carmine Appice and Tim Bogert formed after Vanilla Fudge. I bought this drum set from Carmine around 2002 for the price listed. It is the only known existing kit of his from this period. Carmine was inventing classic heavy rock drumming at this time. Led Zeppelin opened for Vanilla Fudge on their first tour of the U.S. This kit was used at the end of The Fudge and beginning of Cactus...'69-'70. This is a museum-worthy drum set.
