About This Listing

This super rare, Parker Fly Concert is in very good condition, plays ultra-smooth, and sounds amazing! All hardware and electronics work perfectly and everything appears to be original (except for the strap buttons). It is also super lightweight at approximately 4lbs 6oz.

I have had more Parker guitars come through my shop than I can recall. But, this was the first Fly Concert that I've been lucky enough to lay hands on. I was absolutely blown away! So much so that I added this one to my personal collection. Unfortunately, I am primarily an electric player and this one simply doesn't get the attention it deserves. So, it would be great to move it on to someone who will better appreciate its greatness.

It is incredibly loud and resonant unplugged, which is always a good sign. One of the best features of a Parker Fly is of course it's superb piezo system and the incredible tones it can produce. This guitar takes acoustic-piezo tones it to a completely different level! The tone is absolutely huge, clear, articulate, but somehow also very smooth. When I played this one head to head with my Fly Artist electric (identical body woods, well-known for it's great piezo tones), this concert blew it out of the water. No contest. Honestly, I can say that this is the absolute best sounding piezo electric/acoustic guitar of the many I've owned, tested, and played.

Overall, it is in very good condition with just a few cosmetic issues. There are some pick-like marks (on the body and headstock), a few dings on the body, and some tiny indentations on the back of the instrument. I've tried to capture these in the green circles of the last 4 pics. There may be a couple of other very minor marks on the guitar, but that's it. Taken together, none of these minor imperfections affect the playability of the guitar whatsoever. Overall, it is quite clean for an instrument that is more than 20 years old.

A molded Parker hard case will be included with purchase. The case may have some exterior marks from storage, but the latches work perfectly and the case provides excellent protection. Lastly, this instrument will be expertly packed with plenty of bracing and soft filler material to ensure safe transport to its new home.
