About This Listing

This is a Parker Bronze (concert) guiatr. The bronze and nylon are my favorite Parker Guitars. they are just amazing instruments. I own 2 nylon and have 3 bronzes right now and decided to sell one bronze. This is the newer of the bronzes and the one I have kept as a closet instrument in case my other two that are far more worn wear out. It has been upgraded from the standard Fishman piezo saddles to Ghostech. They were in the instrument when I purchased it, my assumption is they were custom ordered from the factory. The main advantage of the Ghosttech is upgrades to things like a 13-pin out for MIDI very easily. That was my original plan for the guitar but I never did that.

For my own collection I have decided one Spruce bronze backup is enough as I slim down my collection a bit and have a rule at this stage. If I want buy a guitar, I have to make room and sell something. This was a tough call. If you would prefer a guitar with the original Fishman pickups I am happy to share photos of that instrument and discuss selling that Parker Bronze instead. The Fishman is brighter sounding and I can share a video for comparison.

The instrument is in excellent shape. There are some marks that I tried to capture in the photos. There is a small blemish on the headstock. Another on the back. Some swirling also on the back common to an instrument this age and Some other small marks. Nothing notable, nothing that interferes with its play or display as a beautiful instrument.

*UPDATE* - I discovered while recording the video that the nut appears to have had a piece chipped off of it. Not sure when that happened and it has had no effect on sound or playability. I did research thinking I might repair it before selling, but have decided to just sell as is. Buying a replacement not from Ghosttech is inexpensive. You can purchase a nut for less than $20 and it is an easy job for someone to slot it and install it if someone feels the need.

Included with the guitar is the original manufacturer hard case which also in excellent shape.

I assume anyone looking at this guitar knows what it is but I am happy to answer questions. The bronze instruments were limited production instruments. They were expensive because they are made from a single large piece of very hiqh quality spruce. I am pricing this competitively and really not interested in low bids or lots of negotiations. Parker’s are my think. I have owned dozens of Parker’s. Amazing instruments.

I uploaded a video of the guitar. The first half is just a Shure MV-88+ pickup the guitar in the room to show how nice the instrument sounds unplugged. The second half is being played through an Fractal Audio FM3. I first play line in to line out - with no processing. Then I add some reverb, eq, and a IR for a Taylor 812 to give it more of a resonant sound. The unplugged is the first 2 min and the FM3 follows. I turn on the IR/Reverb around 3 minutes into the video.
