AKG C 480 B Condenser Microphone CK63 ULS Cardioid Capsule in very good condition. Includes clip.
Give Your Listeners the Sound They Love!In the sound of the C480 Condenser you'll hear ample evidence of the
time-proven
characteristics of some of the recording world's greatest and most popular
microphones. The warmth, presence and "feel" that make a great performance are
all there, waiting to add their unique touch to your recordings. Backing up
these classic qualities are technological standards that come right from the
cutting-edge of today's music gear. Features include a superb preamp with a
built-in, four-position switch: two positions give you a bass-cut filter (at 75
and 150Hz) with different roll-off slopes, while another position selects a
-10dB pad, added after the input stage of the microphone, to ensure performance
at spec sound pressure levels up to 144dB. Ultra-low self-noise and
exceptionally high overload characteristics allow a dynamic range specification
of over 120dB and a specially designed output stage will drive all types of
loads likely to be encountered in professional work, including using excessively
long cables, without any noticeable signal degradation. The C480B also might be
one of the most versatile recording tools you've ever worked with. It's modular
design lets you add or change capsules for different recording directions:
cardioid, hypercardioid,
omnidirectional,
and diffuse field omnidirectional.
Frequency responses of all capsules are exceptionally flat, and offer very
neutral presentations of off-axis material.
