The small and simple preamp offers two controls: volume and shape. A natural acoustic sound is found in the center position on the shape knob and allows players to easily adjust from low, fat and powerful tones to a bright and crisp sound while using only one control. A new, easy-to-read onboard tuner with LCD (liquid crystal display) is located on the preamp.

The Purpleheart bridge transfers string vibration directly to the body, delivering a natural and warm tone.

Ibanez Advantage bridge pins

These pins really are an advantage over old-fashioned pins. Advantage pins are easier to take out and easier to put in than standard pins. This item is sold as a Factory Second. A Factory Second is an item that acquired a cosmetic flaw during manufacturing. This item is fully functioning properly and solely marked as a Factory Second due to a cosmetic flaw. The type of cosmetic flaw varies with every item such as light surface scratching, finish dings or splits, paint discoloration, etc. The flaw is purely cosmetic and does not affect the playability or durability of the item. The majority of Factory Seconds look brand new, as the manufacturer is fanatical about quality control and will mark an item as a second for even the tiniest cosmetic imperfection. Ibanez stamps a small "S" on the back of the headstock. The pictures shown in the listing are our own stock photos.
