For sale here is a lovely vintage Crestline / Teisco with one Blackfoil pickup. It was made by Matsumoku in Japan in the late 60s. This one is in pretty excellent condition given the age. This guitar plays great -- super low action. The bridge and truss are fully adjustable and still have play.
The guitar sounds amazing. Crisp and shimmery when clean, fat and full when distorted or fuzzed up. Can't beat this for a vintage sound at the price!
There are some paint splotches and other wear on the guitar but functionally it is perfect! If you think it looks rough now, you should have seen how dirty it was when I got it. This thing had more than one decade of dust stuck to it.As always, I cleaned it up, polished the finish, oiled the board, flushed the electronics, changed the strings and set the action as low as I could. This guitar comes with no case or gig bag, but I pack my guitars tight and ship with insurance.
