Hello there,

Here's beautiful japanese Tokai '57 Stratocaster ST-60 (originally called Springy Sound) made on world famous Tokai factory in 1977 (or early ‘78 from ‘77 parts). This guitar was one of the earliest ST-60's ever produced according to smaller neckplate and a serial number stamped on both neck heel and the neck pocket. There's no need to talk about quality of these guitars of current period of production — you easily can find a lot of information about it in Internet, and the only thing you have to know is the fact, that these ST-60 guitars are famous for being a nearly best Stratocasters in the world!

This guitar is in very good shape, having a medium relic which perfectly fits the age. The original logo was replaced with Leo's spaghetti logo by guitar's previous owner, neck is straight (I need to mention that the back of the neck is made matte for faster play – feels totally awesome!), frets still have most of their life, all the electronics is working properly. There are only a couple things to admit: there's is no back cover (but I would like not to call it an issue at all) and the most important – the original tremolo of the guitar was replaced, according to previous owner words, with a vintage 1970 Fender tremolo, which is working absolutely perfect! I have absolutely no possibility to check if the plate and block are genuine vintage or a perfect repro (the block is one-piece and matte-coloured like the vintage ones, so it possibly can be an original one), but what is clear is the saddles are six-pack similar and saying "Pat. Pend." in accurate non-blurry font (letters are stamped in a correct way for 1969-1970), with rounder 'D' letters, smaller spacing between letters, so all in all I guess, at least saddles are Genuine Fender, so normally this guitar must worth at least 500 bucks more, but I'll let it go for the price of the all-original Tokai.

This guitar plays great and has real god ol' tweed sound coming out of these great Tokai U-stamped single pickups! Nobody will ever know this guitar weren't made by Leo – there are only tuners saying it's Tokai! This guitar is absolutely great and I bet you'll fall in love with it!
