Gil Yaron 59 LP Replica 2012 Dirty Lemon Burst

For nearly a decade now, Gil Yaron has been building some of the most accurate replicas of classic Fender and Gibson designs, including some of the most coveted 50's era Les Paul copies available. Offered here is a one-owner Yaron 59 Les Paul replica which was commissioned in 2012.  It offers every option that Gil Yaron makes available on his LP Replicas, including, but not limited to:  old-growth Mahogany for the body and neck; 1950's era reclaimed flamed Maple for the top; pre-CITES era Brazilian Rosewood for the fingerboard with Celluloid Nitrate inlays; Gil's own PAF-perfect humbucking pickups with NOS wiring harness and caps; nylon nut; period-correct hardware and plastics, and on and on.  It took Gil years to accumulate the data and vintage tools necessary to replicate a 59 LP to such exacting detail.  I've been lucky enough to handle and play a few vintage Gibson Les Paul guitars over the years and nothing comes so close to reproducing the vibe, feel and tone of the originals like a Yaron reproduction - it's just incredible what Gil can do. This guitar has a total weight of just 8.2 pounds by my scale and it is so very nicely balanced!  The neck depth measures .89" at the first fret, increasing to .98" at the twelfth fret.  Gil gave this one just enough aging and patina to make you believe it is the real deal.  The frets show little to no wear.  The tone and playability are to die for.....  This incredible instrument ships in it's original Ameritage LP case with the CITES certificate for the Brazilian fret board. I'm also going to include an email from Gil in which he confirms the specs of this particular guitar and advises me to enjoy it while I can, as these repro models will not be available much longer (he will soon be building only his own custom design instruments).  If you lust for a real vintage LP, but lack the $200K or so price of admission, here is a somewhat less costly alternative.  This is one incredible instrument.....
