The O3 series was designed to put pro-quality sound and features in a more affordable instrument, with many of the same appointments as more expensive models. The OM-03 Bhilwara features solid Indian Bhiliwara* back/sides in a satin finish with simple maple binding. Beyond that, most of the visible and structural features are identical.
*Bhilwara is a Rosewood from India that is sonically comparable to Monkey Pod.
The Alpine spruce top and Bhilwara back/side combination offer a clear, articulate attack with ample low-end. Larrivée OM models have sweet low mid presence—often missing in newer instruments—giving them a mature, woody, "played-in" sound.
The OM-03 has a solid African Ebony fretboard & bridge, single piece Mahogany neck, Canadian maple binding, bone saddle, bone nut, and bone bridge pins. Other features include a mother-of-pearl logo, Grover 16:1 tuners, non-shrink tortoise pick guard, double action truss rod, durable acrylic satin finish, multi-strip purfling, hardshell case, and a lifetime warranty.

Why We Like Larrivée Guitars
Jean Larrivée has always made fine guitars. HIs guitars are sturdy, with rich sound in a refined package. Larrivée has one of the largest collections of fine tone woods, often supplying wood to other guitar makers—even some of his main competitors. While the company’s roots are decidedly Canadian, most instruments are now built in their California factory.
