About This Listing

This rare, Parker Fly Artist plays super smooth and truly sounds incredible! All hardware and electronics work perfectly, including the piezo system. Also, everything looks to be original with no apparent mods and it has a 10 gauge trem spring installed. This is a great axe from my personal collection of many Parker guitars and it has been one of my favorites. It is super lightweight (approx. 5lbs 5oz), resonant, and has a very unique tone that seems to only be found in Fly Artists or the similarly built Fly Concerts/Bronzes. In my opinion, the Fly Artist is the absolute pinnacle of Parker guitars in terms of tone. Contrary to the Fly deluxe (for example), the distinct sitka spruce body of the Artist produces a very organic, "woody" sound that is very warm and thick with a full low end. To my ears, it's simply Parker perfection. The only reason I'm selling this one is because I have a few of these rare gems and not all of them get the attention they deserve.

In addition to exquisite tone and playability, another remarkable feature of this guitar is its fantastic condition. This instrument has been well cared for over the years and is quite clean. There are some pick-like swirls on the body (primarily in the strumming area) and a couple of minor blemishes on the headstock. As shown in the last 2 pics, there is one ding on the side of the headstock and a couple of marks near the tip of the headstock. But, that's it. After a careful inspection, I can find no other marks, dings, or significant signs of wear on the instrument.

The guitar will ship in its original Parker hard case and the accessories pictured will be included with your purchase. Lastly, this guitar will be expertly packed with plenty of bracing and soft filler material to ensure safe transport to its new home.
