Cordoba’s Matiz series combines traditional tonewoods in 4 eye-catching colors* with cream binding and maple accents. These are inexpensively made instruments aimed at casual and beginning players, but they sound very good (better than some much more expensive classical guitars here in our store).

Spruce top and mahogany back and sides provide the traditional warmth you expect from a nylon string guitar, while the maple headplate, bridge, and full-scale fretboard give the C1 Matiz a new look that makes the body colors pop. A satin polyurethane finish provides protection against nicks and scratches.
