One of the most popular Fender Tele pickups are their "Original Tele" ones that have been used on countless American Vintage series guitars, which use Alnico 3 magnets, plain enamel magnet wire and wound around ~7.2k resistance and 2.4h inductance. This takes that a step instead using Alnico 2 magnets, but the more period correct heavy formvar magnet wire and a higher wound resistance of 7.6k and 2.5h inductance that's comfortable in any music genre. The use of Alnico 2, especially in the neck position allows for tighter less boomy low end while the use of heavy formvar magnet wire gives it a more airy and glassy tone not found with plain enamel. A truly brilliant pairing I'm not sure why they didn't offer sooner.
Mounting tubing and screws included!
