1960’s Ludwig 20” Floor Tom In Champagne Sparkle

Serial 57772 dates this to right around 1964.
Overall this drum is in exceptional vintage and structural condition.
The original wrap is clean & vibrant and is holding nicely at the seams. Free of any splits/cracks or significant scratches or surface wear. There are a few small brown spots in the finish along with some very minor scratches to the wrap.
The original hardware is all in good working order with clean chrome. Hoops are chrome over brass and in beautiful condition and original tension rods are clean. The lugs and leg mounts show some speckled pitting along with minor scratches and scuffs which can be seen in the highlighted photos.
The bearing edges are in good clean condition. The original heads slip on easily. The shell features top & bottom red-felt baseball bat mufflers. Something uncommon with this drum is how the mufflers were installed, slightly notched into the bottom of the reinforcement rings. Based on the size and depth of the reinforcement ring this was the only way to install this type of muffler so it would make contact with the head.
Includes short Ludwig floor tom legs.
