“Surveyor series is made for players who like their basses with a bit of vintage design and modern, versatile tone. Design-wise, Surveyors look like a bit modernized and sharper variants of Precision basses, but they also feature some distinct ESP traits. Surveyors are available in four and five-string variants and all have full-length scales, along with top quality hardware and tone woods. Surveyor 5 is the top five-string model with bolted neck, chrome hardware and bound fingerboard. Body of this model is solid, double-cut and made of ash. ESP offers it in Black and Natural. Two super string humbuckers are installed on the top. Maple neck is fit with U contour in the back and a 21-fret fingerboard on the top. Both ebony and maple fingerboards are available.”
