I love Alvarez guitars... and you don't find many of these anymore.
This is a 1982 Limited Edition Alvarez Artist Series Model 5025A commemorating the 60th anniversary of SLM (St. Louis Music). Alvarez was established in 1965 by St. Louis Music.
The workmanship on this guitar is fantastic. The guitar has aged beautifully and the binding has sweetened to a mellow cream color. This 33 year old guitar is in very nice condition with some scratches that you can see in the photographs. This limited edition guitar is number 677 of 1000. Laminated spruce top and mahogany back and sides.
The original case is included as is a new tusq nut. The original nut has a little crack as you can see in the photos. Nothing serious and it does not effect the playability of this beautiful old Alvarez.
