About This Listing

70's Bach Stradivarius 43 CORPORATION

Serial # 168487

USA market example
Compression like in a new instrument!

Features a # 43 one-piece hand-hammered professional bell that produces a warm sound with slightly more control and with great projection allowing this instrument to work well in multiple musical settings — from jazz to concert or solo playing. The # 25 leadpipe allows for slight resistance that is effective in centering tone production. The silver-plate finish provides a controlled brilliance to the overall sound. These features combined with a .459 "medium-large bore allow the player to produce a well-rounded sound well suited for all types of music.

Technical condition: valves and slides move smoothly and lightly, very good compression
Visual condition: no dents, no dings, silver plating: about 98% remains, scratches on the silver, no part has been re-soldered, minimal corrosion sign on a leadpipe, minimal sign of dent job at bell/front
Finish: silver plated instrument, original silver finish
Additional information: overviewed, ultrasonically cleaned, Bach case (new handle), Vincent Bach Corp.7c mouthpiece
