This is a vintage, mid 60's, Bach trumpet. This line of trumpets were originally called the "Stradivarius" of horns because of their quality sound. Eventually Bach engraved Stradivarius on the bell. This is a model 37G, meaning it is a gold-plated professional horn. This trumpet has been part of a personal collection for years, and with its art deco flair has been an eye catcher. Gold plated body from leadpipe to bell, mother of pearl caps, finger rests, lever style water valves. It does have minor signs of wear on the finish but the horn still shines. Ships with a Bach-Selmer hybrid case, mouthpiece is not included.
Serial #40706.
This instrument has been part of a collection and has not been recently played.
