Felix Manzanero is one of the most important luthiers of classical and flamenco guitars in the school of Madrid, and indeed in all of Europe. Promoted at a young age as a master craftsman by Jose Ramirez and building under his own name since 1963.
This Felix Manzanero comes from 1966, an early and rare instrument under his own label. Personally signed and stamped on the inside of the Brazilian rosewood back and sides. For its age this guitar is in very good condition, has the usual traces of use and playwear and aging traces, but that does not detract from the sound of this truly beautiful instrument. The bridge has been re-glued by our luthiers and the action is a bit on the high side, but very well playable.
This rare vintage classical concert guitar, masterbuilt, has a very strong separation of tone and projection and produces a warm round sound with a strong attack. Travels in a hard case with TFOA passport.
