’m parting with my guitar that has served me for many years. Build by dutch master Luthier Hans de Louter in 1992, this guitar is a rare resonant monster!
Because of an extra thin top, the guitar sounds open, resonant, loud and transparent while still being warm and sweet due to the indian rosewood body. This guitar used to contain a resonator box but was removed by the previous owner. (That’s why it doesn’t have the label anymore) This is a well constructed, hand built, luthier style guitar that sounds and plays amazing for a good price.
De Louter made (to my knowledge) 2 of these Maccaferri D hole models in 1992 models and one of them (not this one) was listed at TFOA a few years back for €2300,-
