About This Listing

"AstroCaster" custom guitar designed & built by me. The idea was to design a guitar sort of shaped like two intersecting picks. One piece Alder body and 1 piece Allparts maple neck with custom-carved headstock, all nitro lacquer finished. The best parts were used:

(3) StewMac Parsons Street P90s, hum-cancelling middle
Wilkinson WVP6SB tremolo with adjustable tension drop-in arm
Fender vintage style locking tuners
Alpha pots
Orange Drop cap
Fender 5-way switch
Switchcraft jack
TUSQ XL nut
Schaller straplock buttons
Body finished in Dupli-Color BSP208  "Sublime Pearl" lacquer- it glows
Body & neck cleared with Mohawk clear lacquer

The guitar plays & sounds great, with a beefy P90 'quack' in positions 2 & 4. Nice low action, no buzzes.

As a fun side project, I built a matching electric ukulele with a functioning tremolo- please contact me if you're interested in that.

Sorry, no bag or case, but it will be well packed in a guitar box, with USPS tracking. It's also listed locally in the Portland OR area.
