A cool little gas from the past. This Harmony H400 A breaks quickly with humbuckers and P-90's. A bit cleaner with single coils. Of course as on any tube amp the amount of breakup is controlled by the volume on the guitar more so than the amp.
Not in perfect condition but solid. As you can see there is a bit fo the covering missing from the top on the left side as well as the upper back panel. I guess you could replace it with material from the bottom but why? It also appears the 2 prong power cord has been replaced with a newer-longer one. It looks like an internal fuse may have been added. I read that these came with Jensen speakers. This one has an 8" JBL, so if not original definitely an upgrade. Although the faded red grill cloth looks stunning on this amp I am not sure it is original. If you know please et me know.
The transformers appear to be original as do all the other components. I have taken good pictures of the guts for your approval. As well the tubes appear original and test well.
Although not be a museum piece but this is a fun, old school amp in the Valco vein. Add a new tone to your arsenal at a reasonable price.
So for the price of a good pedal you can get real-tube breakup.
