Impeccable build quality. Very light weight especially for cocobolo. The trebles and upper mids ring in a way that even the very best old brazilian guitars I have played do not. It has something extra in that magical glassy rosewood reverb that we all search for. You can hear that the guitar is just "put together" well. This is the best "Smeck" style 12 fret Gibson tone I have ever played and I have played quite a few in search of that "Jackson Browne" tone. I am selling because I have my eye on a vintage reverb unit and this is a valuable guitar that can make that a reality.
It's in great condition. Dale uses a very thin Nitro finish and there are some minor-only in the right light-swirlies on the back, a light scratch on the upper bought side and scratch on the neck around the 5th fret. Both are very small, just on the surface and can be easily buffed out.
