Here is an exceptionally rare 1930s Roy Smeck Professional Tenor Guitar by Harmony. It has the lovely Sunburst design made of Cuban mahogany, a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots inlay, a dyed hardwood "airplane" bridge, a red turtle-esque plastic pickguard, cream-colored body bindings, and the original strap. The guitar was restrung about five years ago and has hardly been played since. The condition is average to good with plenty of vintage wear and tear including a small gouge on the front face, a hairline crack in the airplane bridge, some surface rust on the tuning pegs, some crackling, and plenty of scratches and marks to go around. In addition, the pickguard is slightly lifted and could probably use a re-glue. The sound, however, is still quite good, and the guitar is plenty responsive (good action and plays/tunes well). It also seems to be in good shape structurally, as most of the issues are cosmetic.
If you're not familiar with Roy Smeck, his story is fascinating --- he was known as "The Wizard of the Strings" since he played the banjo, guitar and ukelele. This tenor guitar is something of a novelty in this day and age, and they're aren't many that have survived in this playable condition.
Dimensions: 14' x 36' x 4'.
