Schilke mouthpieces are renowned for the way their mouthpieces are measured. Their method enables the player to know the characteristics of their mouthpiec; The First number designates the model number. The First letter designates the CUP VOLUME.

The second number designates the RIM CONTOUR.

The small last letter designates the BACKBORE.
