This is an excellent bass, it can do anything you need, rock, country, funk, whatever. It won best new bass at NAMM when it came out in 2007 and there’s a reason. It’s in great condition except some belt buckle wear on the back. I’ll include a really sturdy hard shell coffin case. Below are the specs:

This modern update on a Fender classic delivers a host of player friendly features including an active EQ, Seymour Duncan Basslines pickups, and a gorgeous, figured quilted maple top. The full 24 fret neck gives the player unprecedented expressive range and access to the higher frets, and the tone is everything you expect from a Jazz Bass, with cut, midrange growl, and incredible top end presence. Weighing in at 9lbs 12oz, there's plenty of attack, fundamental thump, and sustain on tap, and the instrument's balance on a strap is improved by the inclusion of lightweight Hipshot tuners. Professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, this Jazz Bass has roundwound 45-105 strings and low, comfortable action.

The neck has a fairly full medium C shape profile, with a light gloss finish and a slab rosewood fretboard. The 24 medium jumbo frets are in fantastic shape with no notable wear and well rounded crowns. The neck is straight and the bass plays well with no buzzing or dead spots. On the headstock, the chrome Hipshot tuners turn smoothly and hold pitch as they should.

All of the electronics work as they should, with a Volume knob and Active EQ with individual bass/treble knobs that have a significant amount of boost and cuts on tap. A Pan knob allows for the perfect blend between the pickups, and a mini-toggle "Slap" switch revoices the EQ for the ideal top end and presence for slap bass. An active chromatic tuner has also been cleanly installed beneath the Volume knob, with a batter concealed in the main control cavity. This bass shows precious little cosmetic wear, with only a few faint scratches on the back, and one ding in the clear coat on the top that blends in flawlessly with the highly figured quilted maple.

This rare model is no longer in production, and Fender's Korean made instruments have a cult following for their great quality and affordability!
