Original vintage magnatone mk 3 Electric in lovely playing condition, these old maggies with the Paul Bigsby pickups are magical guitars, treasured by player and collectors alike, and becoming rarer every day.
This one is a particularly friendly example, and plays like a pampered pet. The chunky, Gibson les paul Jr. Style solid mahogany neck, with slab rosewood board is exceptional, and lightning fast. The solid mahogany neck-thru construction on these guitars is amazing, and the quality of the wood is impeccable. You literally can not find old growth mahogany like this today. Just Wow.
The original paul bigsby pickup is loud and proud, with something p90 ish, something PAF about it that no other pickup really nails. Plug in, -> rainbow out.
Cosmetically, she’s very vintage indeed! This old gal has been through it, and bears the scars of decades of loving use, with tons of genuine, authentic patina, (and some tattoos), all skin deep, all included at no extra charge. She is all original where it counts though; no cracks, breaks, repairs, or funny business. Just a great vintage axe. She ships in the original stone lifton Cali girl case pictured, and no, I can’t authenticate the signature.
