This beautiful archtop guitar comes from the master workshop of Alfred Bräuer, a German luthier working for the Czechoslovak national guitar producer Cremona (until the 1960's) based in Schonbach (Luby u Chebu). It is in a great condition, the neck is dead straight and it has a snappy, incredibly harmonic and open sound that truly does it justice. These guitars manufactured by Bräuer were the pinnacle of the archtop making tradition in Schonbach, as he was the last German master of the trade who worked in this region with an incredibly rich history of musical instrument making.
The guitar still has the original shellac varnish (reliced by previous playing), and it used to have a pickup installed, meaning that there is a hole beneath the empty jack plate seen on the photos. Other than that, there are no other structural issue (only cosmetic ones). It comes with a hard case and it has a set of 11 gauge flatwound nickel strings installed at this moment.
