Arbiter Flats Pro

This is a unique drumset that was my go-to gigging kit for years! This is a rare kit from Arbiters. It is extremely portable, as all of the drums fit together in a compact carrying case. This was the only kit that I used whenever I would travel or when I was on a tight stage.

This beaut is surprisingly powerful, as I would play it outside unmic'd, and people would say that they could hear it loud and clear from blocks away! Especially when mic'd, it sounds just like a drum with a deep shell. The kick is 22", and the toms are 10", 12" and 14". The snare's also 14".

The thing I love about this kit is the ability to quickly change the tuning of the drums. Because you only tune them at one spot, you could change the drums from a deeper Pop sound to a higher Jazz sound in a matter of seconds. Depending on the song, I would tune up the rack toms to sound more like a timbale, and then restore it to the lower tuning for other tunes.

All five drums, bass drum legs, and the case are included. As shown in the photo, the stitching for the zipper top of the case separated (it was like that when I bought it 10 years ago), but it is still completely functional and hasn't affected the function of the bag. I rarely used all drums at the same time (since I'd use it as a 4 piece), but I would frequently use the toms with other kicks or augment to other kits for unique sounds.
