Thank you for your interest in my bass. Here for your consideration is a vintage US-Made Guild Pilot 5-String bass. This is one of the originals, not one of the DeArmond branded import versions that were produced after Fender took over the brand.

It features a poplar body, maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. The electronics are active and the controls are set up like a Jazz bass. The bass is 100% original, down to the EMG pickups.

The original white finish has aged into a cream color and while it has a few battle scars and dings, the largest one under the bridge (see pictures), it actually looks quite nice for its age and the frets are in great shape. Bass is currently strung with flatwound strings.

Even the case is original. The logo has faded but it's still visible. More to the point, the inside of the case is molded to accommodate this specific bass's shape. While old, the case itself is quite interesting. They don't make them like this anymore.
Update: I was asked for pics of the control cavity, so I added it to the listing. I also photographed another ding under the lower horn. Also, one of the edges of the control plate is broken, so it can be taken off by removing 3 screws. It still functions as expected but I have reduced the price to reflect this.

Please contact with questions. Thank you for looking.
