For sale is a Klaus Heyne VM2 prototype - custom made by Klaus. This was designed as a successor to the legendary Brauner VM1 KHE Klaus Heyne Edition microphone (of which only 100 exist and tend to sell regularly for $10k - $20k if you can even find one). This mic was designed to be a next level, no-compromise improvement on the original VM1 KHE. Sadly it never got to see the light of day as a full production model due to build cost and no longer being able to source the custom wound transformer. Thankfully this one prototype exists and it is simply stunning.

It's in excellent mint shape and fully functional, hardly used and comes from original owner, a private microphone collector who was a good client of Klaus's and jumped at the opportunity to purchase this microphone when he learned it was available from Klaus. Includes microphone, a pelican flight case, power supply and a custom high quality Requisite Audio designed power cable that splits the power from the XLR for the purest audio quality (so you do not need to run the XLR through the power supply).
