The Neumann U 67 is among the most desirable vintage microphones, and rightfully so. This multi-pattern tube condenser is as versatile as they come -- a staple on vocals, drums, and all acoustic instruments thanks to its warm tone with an inviting "air" in the high frequency range. Released in 1960 as the replacement to the U 47, the U 67 used a more readily available tube and a brand new capsule, amplifier, and headbasket design. The K67 capsule at the heart of the U 67 still stands as the benchmark in microphone design, and is the capsule most commonly "cloned" by modern mic manufacturers.
I bought these in the early 70's and have owned them and used them for decades. They have not been used for some time and will be tested prior to shipping.
Included - Original Neumann Power Supplies, Cables and shock Mounts. Shock mounts may require new elastics.
Also, the original Neumann Power Supplies have 2 modifications, they have IEC cable jacks for power, and XLR Jacks for Audio. Both of these modifications are really handy.
