1969. Gibson SG Standard. Big pickguard, pre volute.

Late sixties Gibson SG Standard. The guitar has an old black refin with lots of finish cracking, scratches, dings and painted over dents. The hardware has all been changed to gold. The Maestro is missing the long cover ala Clapton’s painted SG. Seems like only one pickup is period correct T top, but has been turned around due to short lead. The guitar was once modified for a stud tailpiece. This guitar plays great. Frets are low and riveted in some places, but is a pleasure to play.
