One of a kind custom order Parker Fly guitar. If you did not notice it is a totally clean design. No volume or tone controls. No magnetic pickups at all. Instead there is a RMC Poly Drive II setup with an RMC piezo pickups in the bridge which connects to an RMC breakout box with an equalizer, 13-pin Roland synth out and standard 1/4 in instrument jack out of the box. Don’t let the lack of controls fool you. This is a Chameleon of a guitar. Attach this to a Roland VG-8, 88, 88ex, 99, Sys-300, 1000, or any other 13 pin external synth or modeling amp and you have an endless army of guitars, instant custom tuning, synth sounds, sample controller, etc. and even without a modeler, the piezo out sounds great as a clean tone guitar sound which you can hook to your favorite amp modeler or effects board. It sounds great to just as a clean guitar hooked through any other system as well. Great 3 band EQ in the Poly Drive like you would use for a high end acoustic. The acoustic quality exceeds most solid body guitars and the RMC pickups and box are the best in the industry.
The guitar is in mint condition, with one very notable flaw. There is a piece of the paint on the neck that chipped off when the guitar must have taken a hit somewhere. Picture is provided. Uggghhh. It is right below the third feet below the finger board on the Low E side. Kills me because the guitar is otherwise mint and one of the most beautiful and clean looking guitars you will ever seen. It is a piece of art and was kept well loved and cared for in my home studio.
I have owned 15 Parker’s over the years and still own 7 more ( I have a bit of an addiction) but I am starting to cut down. This is without a doubt one of the most unique Parker’s out there. I am not aware of another Parker ever built of this design making it more rare for the right owner than even the special edition Parker’s.
But unique is not really what makes this guitar special or a reason to buy it. It is a modelers dream guitar. It is customized to be an everything instrument for the stage or studio musician who wants to hook through a modeling system and have instantaneous ability to access custom tunings or any guitar sounds you can imagine when hooked to a guitar modeler. Shedding the electronics from being onboard it is also the lightest Parker Guitar I own (lighter than my Spanish/Nylon fly or my Bronze/Concert) which also lack magnetic pickups. I believe it is well under 5 lbs and easy to hold for hours.
Anyway good luck. If you have any questions I am happy to answer them.
