About This Listing
In 1995 Bass Frontiers Magazine reviewed a Bogart Blackstone 5 string bass then paired it with an Eden amp for a giveaway. This bass was originally built for Tony Levin who could not accept it because he was under contract with Music Man. So it was sent to Bass Frontiers, they wrote a review, and they gave it away. The guy who won it was a fretless player, never gigged with it, never left his apartment and I bought it. The body is composite. The neck is carbon fiber. It is basically headless as the headstock knobs are hold downs for the normal strings and it tunes at your right hand. The pickups and electronics are Bartolini. I will include Two Bass Frontier magazines with the ads and review. The last pic is me playing it while opening for Quiet Riot.
