Vintage 1980’s Mij Tokai Goldstar sound TST-60 ‘60s reissue strat Sunburst

Lovely Japanese tokai TST-60 60’s spec strat from the mid 1980s 

its impossible to date these, every one says their’s is from 1984 as that’s when this style of logo came in; truth be told it dates from anywhere between 1984 and 1989

lovely instrument, tokai were in top of their game in the 80s, you get a lot of bang for your buck with these.

its in very good condition, the person I bought it off bought it to learn to play and never really played it very much!

it has the usual scratches, dents and dings, a little wear to the fretboard but nothing major

It also has a few chips to the finish on the edge of the body

Two piece alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, thin poly finish with all of its original electronics. 

It also comes with its original whammy bar.

This weighs 3.9 kg, not the lightest but not uncomfortably heavy.

The action is good and the neck is true, it’ll probably need a fresh set of strings and a setup as I’ve been playing it very day for the past few months, however it plays fine and you could gig with it as is

The pickups are decent and it records really well!(message me if you want audio examples)

This will be sent out in a soft case and will be well packed(strings slackened/ bubble wrap and cardboard)
